I am very excited to announce that I will be holding a concert of my music on November 1st! The program will consist of nine pieces performed by TCU students and faculty, faculty from Southwestern Adventist University, and other guest artists. This will also feature the premiere of Rubaie, a newly composed piece for flute and celesta. More info here. Public Facebook event here! See the concert live-streamed here! Great work, Matthew! I thoroughly enjoyed the recital. The compositions were unique and well constructed. All of the performances were excellent. In particular, I appreciated the powerful opening pieces from the female and male vocal soloists and the cello soloist. Their strong presentations set a tone of confidence for the recital. (Your cello composition was my personal favorite of the evening -- it had a playfully chaotic and dark spirit.) And, of course, the four-movement finale was a masterpiece. I envision a bright future for you in music. Enjoy your success!
